For generations, Mar Mac Farms has built a program around proven cow families, functional cattle and genetics designed to work for cattlemen.
On December 22, we open the gates for the opportunity to select from all the Mar Mac females from the heart of our Red Angus and Simmental programs—genetics built and proven over generations.

Please Join Us as We Share the Herd With You…
2026 marks an incredible milestone for Mar Mac Farms—50 years in the Simmental business and 61 years in the Angus business. Building our cow herd and the genetics behind it has been our life’s work.
After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our cow numbers, allowing more time to spend with our grandchildren, family, and travelling.
On December 22, 2026, we will offer ALL of our Red Angus and Simmental cows, along with a select group of commercial females. This is a rare opportunity to select from every Mar Mac cow family and invest in proven genetics built over generations.
We are incredibly proud of the productive, functional cow herd we have developed and look forward to seeing these females make their mark in programs across the country.
While the cows will sell, the Mar Mac program will continue. We will retain a handful of recipient females carrying embryos, along with select choice-lot females. Our bull calves and a select group of two-year-old bulls will sell in our Annual Bull Sale, March 10, 2027.
We love our cows and have been blessed to spend our lives working alongside great cattle and great people. It has truly been a privilege to be part of the Angus and Simmental industries, and we are excited to see these females go on to make an impact in herds across the country.
